1-2-1 tuition is more effective than class lessons because:
Children can develop at their own pace.
- Their individual needs can be addressed.
- They progress quicker than they would in a group session.
- Some children are easily distracted and cannot concentrate in a group.
- Nervous children and fearful of the water are unlikely to progress without constant assistance and
reassurance.
- For more able swimmers we can provide stroke analysis.
- We aim to make the lessons enjoyable and fun.
We run our own unique award scheme produced by Spire Graphics which adhere to ASA laws and practices, the scheme is progressive ensuring water confidence skills keep develop alongside stroke technique and includes questions to build water safety awareness.
Colourful in presentation and easy to follow our child friendly wall charts, with characters they can relate
to, allow the children to monitor their own progress.
We are a multi stroke establishment although we specialise in breast stroke. We have very high
standards and all our distance awards have to be completed using correct stroke technique.
We also use the ASA swim challenge programme and STA water safety programme.
Lessons are balanced we are careful not to spend too long on one drill as repetitive practices can cause
injury to growing and developing muscles.
Our swim is affiliated to the ASA
